Who is Mae and Case?

Mae and Case have known one another for almost ten years but it appears to be a lifetime. These two met in 1999 while pursuing membership in Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and have been best friends ever since. Their talents and amazing chemistry is why their collaboration is just like magic.

Mae (MaToya Marsh)

Mae is a true Cancer. Born on July 9th, she is known for being outgoing and out of the box. She received her B.A. in English with an option to teach Secondary Education and is currently pursuing her M.A. in counseling. Mae has been a teacher in Chicago Public Schools for five years and attributes her whit and trendiness to her teenage students.

Case (Cassiopeia Sledge)

Ms. Cassiopeia Sledge has been filled with a warm and happy spirit all of her life. With the encouragement of her Mother and Grandparents, she has been consistently active since the age of 7. When Cassiopeia made that huge leap into college, she joined Primo Dance Troupe in the fall of 1999.

With all of her experience, Cassiopeia decided that it was time to start her own company. A company filled with wonderful young women whose talents stretch far beyond just dancing. That company was introduced to the city in June of 2004. It started with only 5 members but now houses 17 dancers and 15 models. That company is Flawless Ink, a talented dance company and modeling/promotional agency. She also owns Sol Designs a graphic design company and Ebony Dream Makers, a gift/cards/calendars/tee shirt company.

Swagher (ladies apparel)

When you hear the word swagger what do you think about? Is it a specific person? Someone who is confident? Maybe even good looking? Somewhat stylish? Talented? Sexy? Sophisticated? Or even Charming? Someone a little Boastful? Someone Intelligent? Perhaps slightly arrogant? Maybe all of the above? Possibly none of the above? Or is it that you just can't put your finger on it? When the Swagher line was created in 2008 by MaToya Marsh and Cassiopeia Sledge all of the above was considered. They thought about the most talented, confident, stylish, intelligent women that they knew and asked themselves what makes them who they are? After careful contemplation they realized that is just something about her. MaToya and Cassiopeia's vision for Swagher is for women to know that it may not solely be the way that they look, their size, or how much they know, that makes them who they are, their vision is to let women know that every woman has that special somethin about her, that makes her who she is, and gives her Swagher.

The line is targeted toward the woman that knows whether she wears a jogging suit, a t-shirt, jeans, a skirt, or a suit that there is something about her that makes her stand out in a room full people. Swagher realizes that clothes don't make the woman, that the woman makes the clothes, so every time you wear Swagher you make each and every piece unique. With that being said, when you here the word swagger what do you think about? Is it you? Swagher: It's just something about HER.
