Kanye West is making his way back into the spotlight after a brief hiatus. He is gearing up to perform at this year’s BET Awards which will be his first Awards show appearance since the VMA’s Taylor Swift debacle. In between time, he was spotted last week with Lupe Fiasco and Common at a special “Stay In School” performance for a Chicago High School.
He also made a surprise appearance at the Isle of Wright Music Festival in the UK on Friday, for a performance of “Run This Town” with Jay-z. The crowd went nuts!
I remember people wanted him blackballed, now even bloggers like Perez Hilton are rooting for his return.

I would probably look at her and say “You thinking what I’m thinking.?” It’s something I haven’t done yet. There’s a few elevator ups I haven’t had yet.

Just being with my sons, taking some incredible pictures and getting some hugs. I would love for them to make breakfast for me, but I don’t think they’re up for that. They’ll make me the best cereal.

Instead, South Africa’s beloved anti-apartheid icon stayed at home with his family Friday in northern Johannesburg during the opening ceremony and game, mourning his 13-year-old great-granddaughter Zenani, who died in a car crash on the way home from a tournament-eve concert in Soweto.
The Nelson Mandela Foundation said the tragedy “made it inappropriate” for the former president, who is 91, to attend the opening ceremony in Johannesburg.

“We are sure that South Africans and people all over the world will stand in solidarity with Mr. Mandela and his family in the aftermath of this tragedy,” the foundation said, adding that Mandela “will be there with you in spirit today.”
Johannesburg Metro police spokeswoman Edna Mamonyane said the driver of the car had been arrested and charged with drunk driving. Mamonyane said the driver, whom police didn’t identify, could also face homicide charges.
“The Metro police found that he was drunk,” Mamonyane said. “He lost control of the vehicle and it collided with a barricade.”
Police spokesman Govindsamy Mariemuthoo, who earlier said the driver would appear in court for a preliminary hearing Friday, said that had been postponed for more investigations, and that the driver was not being held. Mariemuthoo said that was not unusual.

It's officially official. Lauryn Hill is slated to take the stages of the Rock The Bells Tour this summer.
Rumors ran rampant a week ago about Lauryn returning to the stage for the event. She wasn't announced in the initial lineup, but she was just added as a very special guest. The Jersey native will be performing her whole classic album The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill. Yassssss.
Also at Rock The Bells, Snoop will deliver “Doggystyle,” A Tribe Called Quest
will do “Midnight Marauders” and DJ Premier will pay homage to Gang Starr member Guru. Other acts are Wu-Tang Clan, KRS-One, Slick Rick, Rakim, Murs, Immortal Technique, 9th Wonder, Clipse, Wiz Khalifa and others.

Police today asked for the public's help in finding a 26-year-old man last seen in the Burnside neighborhood on Chicago's South Side.
Jason Wade was reported missing from the 9000 block of South Cottage Grove Avenue on Friday, according to a missing persons alert issued by police.
Family members said Wade sounded depressed the last time they spoke with him, police said.
Wade is described in the alert as black, 6-foot-4, 220 pounds with brown eyes, black hair and a medium complexion.
Police said Wade, whose nickname is "Da Loc Beast," has several tattoos including red lips on the right side of his neck. On his left hand is "Da Loc," and on the right hand is the word "Beast." In addition, his bottom lip is pierced.
Wade frequents the area of 7700 South Honore Avenue and the 3700 block of South Indiana Avenue, according to police.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Calumet Area Special Victims Unit at 312-747-8274.

What happened? Well Chris Brown is a CONVICTED VIOLENT FELON, and many countries restrict visas for violent felons.
Chris was supposed to launch his tour on Wednesday in Glasgow, U.K., but an apologetic Brown instead Tweeted the following, “SORRY to all the fans in europe!!! my tour is cancelled . . . Im pretty sure yall know. my entry was denied in your country. i love you.SORRY!!”
A few minutes later, that tweet was deleted without further explanation.

According to the New York Post, the pals were turned away again by security at another hotspot, celebrity nightclub SL - because their entourage was too big.
A source says, "They showed up with a huge entourage all trying to get in, but they were totally denied at the door."

In 2007, Govan was involved in a "Cash-for-Grades" scandal at Diablo Valley College in California. The con involved paying students who could hack into the school's computer system to change grades. The hackers charged upwards of $500 for each grade alteration. The crime is considered a felony and is punishable with prison time.
Govan was involved in a ring of 34 students. Many pleaded not guilty to the felony fraud and conspiracy charges while others were given lengthy prison terms. Govan pleaded to a lesser charge and received no jail time, as reported by Black Sports.

That means Marsha is the NINTH lawyer Siohvaughn has parted ways with in the case. The attorneys who’ve represented her include Dorene Marcus, Burton Hochberg, Michael Berger, David Stein, John Rokacz, Rosaire Nottage, Andrew Leinoff, and Michael Bruck. All except for one withdrew from the case.
All jokes aside… this is really sad. We hope her kids are doing okay because this is one MESSY AZZ divorce and it seems like it’s getting worse by the minute.
Wonder what it is about her that is driving the lawyers away? Is she as mentally unstable as Dwyane has alleged? Or does she want too much out of her lawsuit? What’s really going on here?
